Love Me, Hate Me

The world we live in today is. " I like you, as long as you think like me!  I do business with you, ONLY if you think like me, regardless of how  good of a person you are." Each day I get up and realize this new reality, I feel a sick darkness in my soul!   It's the most rude awakening that I have ever experienced.

I remember years ago, when I got my cosmetologist license and began work at the stop salon in my area.   None of us talked politics and I don't remember my clients talking politics either.   I remember laughter and creativity throughout the salon!   It was a luxurious place women in town gathered, while anticipating a new look which would make them feel beautiful when they walked out the door!  We were the most creative salon in town and people loved coming there.   I loved making women more beautiful and feeling beautiful as well.  

Today, I have continued this passion, carrying it over into my photography business.   I  didn't want to be that photographer that only photographed young women.  I believe women are more beautiful as they age.  I enjoy making each client feel like a movie star on camera, as well as looking like one!   When I finally opened my own studio, right before the COVID shutdown, I was overwhelmed with sadness.  I  went from high as a kite, plummeting to despair.    What was to be about a 2 week shutdown has now encroached on a year.   I have watched countless businesses close their doors and the world has literally turned on each other, all because the media and corrupt politicians are exercising their control through fear.   The easiest way to control people is through FEAR, then turning them against each other!   This  is exactly what's happened.

All over the world, in the real world and on social media, people have turned on each other like savages!  This is not the world I signed up for and this is not the world that is unified. 

How Did We Come To This?

We came to this because the world has gotten lazy.  People have become addicted to the news media, which has never been about lifting us up!  The media is there to keep us down and in fear, and this makes people easily manipulated.   I have spent my life hating politics, but 2020 was our most important election to date and the election was all about whether our country remains free.  We have been isolated through fear, & so that we can not discuss with each other, any opinions or research we may have come across!   If we think for ourselves a tiny little bit, then post it on social media, we are now shutdown by the media giants.   We have been silenced, unless we buy into the fear or agree with Mark Zuckerberg, YouTube and Google. 

I've spent most of my adult life making people beautiful, spoiling people with gifts, and being a great host with the  many parties I use to have.  I never wanted anyone to have to work when they came to my house!  I loved spoiling them as a guest!   I was the hostess with the mostess!  I now carry that over into my LIVE Internet show, Tamarah's Closet, interviewing and celebrating talented people from all over the world!  I will continue this as it is my passion and I believe in paying it forward. 

It is very rare that I post anything about politics and I never write about it in my blog, however when I do, on a rare occasion, and that has only be recently;  I have been verbally attacked and literally shamed by anyone who disagrees.   So you only love me when I think like you, or else?   I never thought I would see the day where our President of the United States would be banned from social media and even more, any and all of his supporters are banned too; whether it's censoring or putting someone in Facebook jail!  We have also seen people's YouTube videos taken down.  How did we come to this, I say? 

Even more, and even worse, is the number of people who condone this behavior, but should the tables be turned, they would be livid and riots would break out all over the world about this!   This isn't the world I use to love.   I have spent much time in isolation in 2020 because I have grown tired of seeing people attack each other verbally, even physically for having different opinions, or not wanting to wear a mask, or because they support our President.  There are friends I've had that I can't be around due to their condoning of this type of behavior.  We all have the right to freedom of speech! 

Never let people break you for being you!

How Do We Get Out?

The only way out is to unify, and the only way we do that is to shut down the media by doing our own research, become critical thinkers & by asking questions!  If you are not asking questions then you are being controlled.   Why would anyone take the word of a new station or a career politician to be the Gospel?  The minute we take their word as the gospel, whether it's the news or politicians, we give them all the power, and  we become puppets; then we hate each other!

As an Independent in politics, I believe there is beauty on both sides!  Balance is the key and yet people are still striving and fighting for only the issues that are important to them, when in reality unity and balance is the key!

My heart has been heavy, even into 2021 as I watch people hate and shame each other.   Fearful people are dangerous people.  They are also easily manipulated.   So if you only love me when I think like you, then you are not someone I want to know. 

I pray for people around the world to wake up and learn to read, research and think for themselves.  Do i have hope of this?  Not much, but what I can do, is continue on with my life, still celebrating people from all around the world, and then what bad can you really say about me?  I am sure some of you will find something to hate me for!  But I just don't care!
