One In Christ; divided by Politicians and Media
The picture of the hand depicts various races, yet in the eyes of the politicians and news media, there are only two, and they insist on dividing black and white. The expression, “It’s not always black and white,” serves a more significant meaning than we realize, for there is a grey area that is ignored by the powers-that-be. We can carry this black-and-white absolute thinking into racial statements because the politicians said so. This absolute way of thinking diminishes the middle ground. It leaves us to believe there is only right or wrong, either or, you or me, leaving us compartmentalized into one of two categories of thought or beliefs. What happened to the grey area?

The Middle Ground
This debauch body of government/media will lead us to believe there is no middle ground. Their incessant need to be right and to control our thought patterns has become infallible and grandiose, and the world has lost sight of the bigger picture. There are several races or classifications of race, and none of them have anything to do with what is truly going on in the world today. What is going on is an irreconcilable division that could end humanity, opening a prelude to another civil war. In reality, we are already in a verbal civil war and the powers- that-be keep it festering with their propaganda merely to gain more power and wealth. When will we again open our eyes and hearts to humanity and see that we are all one in Christ?

"How are we going to get rid of racism? Stop talking about it."
Morgan Freeman
In the real world, the world I have been living in, there is no racism, for it is only in the world of politics and social media that we are divided. They forever stir it up, especially in an election year. For as long as I have been on this earth, I have seen the beauty of all races and cultures. I don’t see one better than the other. Oppression is created by those who see themselves as victims. I see people of all races, some doing better than me, some not financially as well off, and so on. It has nothing to do with race like our so-called leaders want us to believe.

What I see is a world of people who would like to unite, but the grand delusions of their dream-team leaders are taking over their thought processes or even their ability to think independently. It’s happening everywhere. It ends when we decide it will end. It ends when we thing for ourselves.
“The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud.”

A NEW RACE OF DISCRIMINATION
Now, if you are truly virtuous, no matter what your politics, Republican or Democrat and you are okay with this new social media silencing of free speech, then we can call you a racist of a new group that is being discriminated against. Let’s look at the definition of segregation: The policy or practice of separating people of different races, classes, or ethnic groups, as in schools, housing, and public or commercial facilities, especially as a form of discrimination. Now, why is this right? We know it is not right. We can say it is that grey area we’ve forgotten about.

See, the easy explanation of the absolute white or black thinking is, again, there is no middle ground. We know there is a middle ground, even in races. In politics, this could be described as such: Those who are not liberal must be conservative, hate the environment, and are racist. Those who are liberal don’t believe in God, only care about the environment, and are not racist. So, let’s go back. When I say racist in this situation, the politicians and news media are speaking of black people, not all the other races. What about them? What about white people, as they are also a race? Do you see where this takes us? And, of course, those who are religious are assumed to be homophobic. There is a middle ground, and there are those of us who stand with values from both sides of the equation. I don’t enjoy being lumped into one category because I have things that I agree or disagree with from both sides.

The one thing that I agree with is that we are all one in Christ, and this division is created by the debauched powers-that-be and those people who are allowing it to happen. When we allow this division and hate to happen, it is on us. This is where no one wins but the tyrants at the top of the food chain.
Race is not all black and white, and thought processes, along with values, are not either. There is no group more virtuous than others, only virtuous people from all walks of life. Virtuous people do not discriminate. May I remind you that the definition of discrimination is this: Treatment or consideration based on class or category, such as race or gender, rather than individual merit, partiality, or prejudice. I haven’t met many virtuous people in the last few years, especially on social media.

We are all one in Christ, whether you believe Christ is real or not. Perhaps when more people believe in something greater than themselves and stop worshiping politicians, the world will begin to change. Not one mortal person can change the world or fix it. It is going to take people of all races and cultures to come together and learn to coexist with different opinions.
"There is more power in unity than division." Emanuel Cleaver
Learn to love one another. Allow yourselves not to be sucked into thinking there is only this side or that side, for there is a middle ground, and there are those of us who stand somewhere in the middle. Stop lumping people into these “either-or” categories; you will become a better person. Remember, there are several races; with that said, we are all one and were created by one.
I am wise enough to know that the powers that be don’t care about us, so it’s time we started caring for each other. Caring for humanity versus someone's political views is what will make one virtuous. It's not the other way around.

Remember the grey area; the middle or common ground. It's what keeps us together.
