Valentine's is For Your Man Too
Valentine's comes every year and while we tend to think it is all about us ladies, it's about the men in our lives as well. After all, it is the month of romance and we should celebrate our romantic partners as well.
I thought I would do something different this year and give the guys a chance to show off their supermodel powers! In my research, male boudoir is quite popular now, and it does not have to be revealing, as much as romantic and sexy! Since I love romantic lighting this is fun for me to test my skills with the guys and make them feel great as well, giving them a keepsake photo for their Valentine.
This Valentine's you can also do couples shots for those who want a romantic session together. Being creative with your partner makes it fun, or you can surprise each other with separate sessions for this romantic holiday!
Ladies, we all know that men are the least likely to hire a photographer to photograph themselves for a keepsake photo, so why not gift them a photo session to encourage them to have it done? It's for you as well, and this photo will be fun for years down the road. Whether your guy looks like a supermodel or not, being in front of the camera with the right lighting can bring out the supermodel in him.
He can be photographed in his favorite suit, casual wear, or if he has a supermodel physique he can do something that will show off his physique, shirtless, underwear or tank top are some suggestions!
Lighting is everything to create that romantic mood and silhouettes. I even enjoy using a very low lighting effect, almost film noir to give a photo a certain jazzy elegant mood as I did here with singer/songwriter, Randy Condor Williams.
Creating silhouettes and focusing on the eyes and face can be a very romantic keepsake photo that stands out over a basic portrait. Romance is in the air the month of February, so I think this is a great gift to give your significant other.
Being in the gym every day, I see many guys that work hard to keep their physique, so if your guy works hard on his physique, this makes a great gift and a chance for him to show off his hard work with beautiful lighting.
Make your guy feel special this Valentine's Day and give him a romantic photo session for a keepsake photo that both of you will enjoy. I enjoy making my photo sessions fun with music to help my clients relax and I am great at capturing the moments so they do not look posed!
Your special guy does not need to be in tip-top shape either, to get some sexy photos. The key is in the lighting and I enjoy using lighting to bring out the best features in my clients.
